This was supposed to go up on Saturday morning but didn’t post! So
imagine it’s Saturday morning all of a sudden:
Last night Shyla and Josh did combination housesitting and dogsitting
with Chompsky. We forgot to warn him about his counter surfing so he
managed to get a whole slice of pizza (the first time he’s ever gotten a
counter-surfing jackpot like that), and was emboldened by that to try to
grab anything, including a sewing kit. Jenn and I are going to be SUPER
VIGILANT so that he won’t get rewarded again.
This morning I took him down to the beach to enjoy the snow where he had
a great time. He did run outside of the dog park once (I was too far
away for him to hear my calls) but he came back quickly and then ran
towards me as soon as he saw how far away he was. He also SUPER LOVES
SNOW and made dog snow angles AND shoved his head entirely in piles of
it and snorted around. By the end his face was entirely covered with
ice. He had a great time! Doesn’t seem to mind the cold at all either:
no shivering or anything, just non-stop action.
